To generate a market list for a single menu open the menu form.  This can be done by one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Menus from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

Select the menu you wish to view a market list for from the browser pane of the menu form and then click on the Market list tab.

 

This will display a full market list for the selected menu.  If this is the first time that you have selected the Market List tab, the program will break-down the menu's component recipes and ingredients into individual ingredients and calculate the required quantity for each ingredient.

 

Resort Bistro uses the budget quantities as entered in the Engineering (Table) page of the Menu Form to calculate the various ingredient quantities for the market list.

 

NOTE:  If the market list appears with zero quantities, then you haven't yet entered any quantities into the Engineering (Table) page of the Menu form.
