To import categories from another database you must use the Import Wizard.

It is possible to import categories from another Resort Software database only.

 

There are separate topics in the section titled 'Importing Data' detailing how to import categories from other data sources.

 

NOTE 1: It is important, when importing categories into your database that you do not choose to use the "Merge databases" option.  You should select specific data to be imported into your database.

 

NOTE 2: Importing menus, recipes or ingredients into your database will also import any categories associated with them.
