Mise-en-place page
<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Navigation: Menus > The menu form > Mise-en-place page |
This view shows the mise-en-place details of the current menu.
There are two primary areas; the menu shown in tree form on the left side of the page and a complete break-down of all ingredient/recipes used in the menu. Choose to view ingredients or recipes from the tab at the bottom of the form.
The tree on the left shows the structure of the selected recipe and shows all nested sub-recipes in a tree-like structure. This is a great way to visualize the structure of a menu particularly when it has multiple recipes that may contain several sub-recipes and those sub-recipes may have sub-recipes of their own. This section also displays the ingredient quantities required to produce the particular menu and the cost associated with those quantities.
