To create a new outlet copying the details from another outlet:-

 

First you will need to open the Outlet form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Outlets from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Select the outlet that you wish to copy from.

 

Use one of the following methods to copy the selected outlet:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Copy from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F3 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new outlet, remembering to change the name from that of the existing outlet.  More help on this can be found in the Outlet form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two outlets are permitted the same name in a Resort Executive database.  If you try to create a outlet with the name of a outlet that already exists, Resort Executive will display an error message.
