To import recipes from another database you must use the Import Wizard.

It is possible to import recipes from the following data sources:

 

•Chef Master files

•Meal Master files

•Recipe Exchange Format (RXF) files

•Resort Software database

 

There are separate topics in the section titled 'Importing Data' detailing how to import recipes from each of these file types.

 

NOTE 1: It is important, when importing recipes into your database that you do not choose to use the "Merge databases" option.  You should select specific data to be imported into your database.

 

NOTE 2: Importing recipes from Chef Master files, Meal Master files and Resort Software databases will also import all ingredients associated with those recipes, including costs.  Importing from an RXF file will bring across the ingredients without their costs.
