Many operations in Resort Recipe require you to open or select a database file at some point. Under these circumstances, the program will display the File Open dialog box from which you browse your hard drive folders and select a database file.
The File Open dialog box will initially appear showing the contents of the Resort Recipe sample data folder (My Documents\RecipeData) and use that folder as a 'starting point'.
You can change this initial folder by setting up the default data path. Select the Default Data Path... from the File Menu and Resort Recipe will display the following dialog box.
From this dialog, you should click the Browse... button and browse your hard drive(s) to locate the folder from which you wish the File Open dialog box to start. Just click the OK button and you are done.
From that point onwards, the File Open dialog will always initially appear showing the contents of the selected drive/folder.
NOTE: Depending on which operating system you run, the default data path set upon installation may vary slightly, however if you go via your My Documents folder, you should find the RecipeData file there.
