| 1. | Open a database (if one isn't already open). |
| 2. | Select Ingredients from the View menu, or click the  toolbar button. This will display the Ingredient page. |
| 3. | Next, either click the New button in the Ingredient page (see diagram below), or... |
...alternatively, click the right mouse button over any ingredient in the ingredient browser list and select the Add a new ingredient... option. Resort Recipe will then display the Ingredient dialog.
| 4. | Fill in the details for the new ingredient and then click the OK button to save it. See the topic titled Ingredient dialog for more information on filling out an ingredient's details. |
| 5. | Repeat from step 3 above to create another new ingredient. |
