To create a new menu copying the details from another menu:-

 

First you will need to open the Menu form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Menus from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Use the menu browser to select the menu that you wish to copy from.

 

Use one of the following methods to copy the selected menu:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Copy from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F3 shortcut key.

 

Fill in the details of the new menu, remembering to change the name from that of the existing menu.  More help on this can be found in the Menu form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two menus are permitted the same name in a Resort Bistro database.  If you try to create a menu with the name of a menu that already exists, Resort Bistro will display an error message.
