Functions

Resort Executive functions, lets you group a number of recipes and ingredients together for function or banquet costing purposes.  

 

Functions aren't like regular menus, they are for costing a one-off event for a single client. Typical examples of functions are weddings, parties, formal functions etc.

 

Each function has a component ingredient list like recipes, but with a difference.  Each function stores the number of expected guests (covers) which can then be used for costing calculations.  Functions can be set up so that all you need to do is change the cover figure and the program automatically adjusts the component ingredient quantities used by the function for costing calculations.

 

Resort Executive can generate lists of ingredient requirements for one or more functions.  The program will also generate a table of preparations required for a function (e.g. how much of a particular stock, sauce, etc. to prepare for the function).
