Technical support

If you have any technical issues regarding Resort Hotel, please contact the Resort Software technical support department.  You can contact Resort Software either by phone, fax, and email or via our World Wide Web site.

 

Bug fixes and updates

 

From time to time we will post updated releases of Resort Hotel on our web site for free download.  These updates will include any bug fixes and new features implemented in the program.

 

You can check to see if you have the latest release of the program installed by selecting the Online Program Updates... option from the Resort Hotel Help menu. This will launch the Online Updates Dialog, from which the program will check with the Resort Software web server to see if you have the latest version of the program installed.  If you don't have the latest release of the program, the resulting web page will guide you through the procedure for obtaining the latest release of Resort Hotel.

 

To download the latest release of Resort Hotel, go to the Resort Software home page at https://www.resortsoftware.com  and click the 'Download' button.  Then browse your way to the Resort Hotel download page.  The Resort Hotel download page contains further instructions for downloading the latest release.

 

If you want to be informed by email each time that we post a new release of Resort Hotel to our web site, you can join the Resort Hotel mailing list.  Email support@resortsoftware.com with an appropriate request message.  You will then be informed by email immediately after we update Resort Hotel.  

 

Bug Reports

 

If you think you have found a bug or error in Resort Hotel, please submit a bug report to Technical Support.  

 

Whatever method you use to report the bug, please provide the following information:-

 

The exact version and build number of the Resort Hotel release that you are running.  These numbers can be found in the About Resort Hotel dialog.

 

The operating system running on your computer.  i.e. Microsoft Windows 95 or later, or Microsoft Windows NT version 4, etc.

 

The exact nature of your problem or query.  In order for us to track down a bug in a program we need to be able to reproduce the problem on our development system.  In order to do this we need as much useful information about the problem as possible.  Sending us an email that just says "It won't print!" doesn't actually tell us much and we'll probably waste both ours and your time asking you for more details  before we can get to the bottom of your particular problem. The more information you can provide, the faster we can respond.

 

We may contact you for further information to help track down any problems.  This may include a request for you to email your recipe database to us so that we can use your data to reproduce your problem.

 

NOTE: Please do not email recipe databases to Resort Software unless specifically requested by our Technical Support department.

 

Suggestions for future releases

 

If you've had a bright idea for a future release of any Resort Software product, please let us know.  We're committed to making Resort Software products the best recipe management tool possible, and we place a great deal of value on user feedback.  Nothing is considered too trivial!
