To create a new course copying the details from another course:-

 

 

First you will need to open the Course form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Course from the menu bar                or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Select the course that you wish to copy from the Course Browser.

 

Use one of the following methods to copy the selected course:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Copy from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F3 shortcut key.

 

Fill in the details of the new course, remembering to change the name from that of the existing course.  More help on this can be found in the Course form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two courses are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database.  If you try to create a course with the name of a course that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
