To create a new ingredient:-

 

First you will need to open the Ingredient form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Ingredients from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Once the Ingredient form is opened choose one of the following methods to create a new blank ingredient:

 

•Click on the toolbar button                or

 

•Select Record->New from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F2 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new ingredient in the blank ingredient form. More help on this can be found in the Ingredient form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

NOTE: No two ingredients are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database.  If you try to create an ingredient with the name of an ingredient that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
