To create a new menu:-

 

First you will need to open the Menu form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Menus from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Once the Menu form is opened choose one of the following methods to create a new blank menu:

 

•Click on the toolbar button                or

 

•Select Record->New from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F2 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new menu in the blank menu form. More help on this can be found in the Menu form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two menus are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database.  If you try to create a menu with the name of a menu that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
