To create a new recipe:-
First you will need to open the Recipe form.
This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:
•Click on the 
toolbar button or
•Select Forms->Recipes from the menu bar or
•Click on the 
icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.
Once the Recipe form is opened choose one of the following methods to create a new blank recipe:
•Click on the 
toolbar button or
•Select Record->New from the menu bar or
•Hit the F2 shortcut key.
Fill in the details of the new recipe in the various pages of the recipe form.
From the general details page you should:
•enter the recipe name
•enter the recipe's author
•assign a stock code
•enter a brief description of the recipe
•assign the new recipe to categories and keywords.
From the ingredients & costs page you can:
•insert ingredients and their quantities
•enter any preparation notes
•scale your recipe
•mark the recipe as a retail product if required
•assign an optional product code
From the method page you can:
•enter the method of preparation for the recipe
From the picture page you can:
•insert a picture of the new recipe

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:
•Click on the 
toolbar button or
•Select Record->Save from the menu bar or
•Hit the F9 shortcut key.
NOTE: No two recipes are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database. If you try to create a recipe with the name of a recipe that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
