To create a new store:-

 

 

First you will need to open the Store form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Stores from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Once the Store form is opened choose one of the following methods to create a new blank store:

 

•Click on the toolbar button                or

 

•Select Record->New from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F2 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new store in the blank store form. More help on this can be found in the Store form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the drop-down menus        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

NOTE: No two stores are permitted the same name in a Resort Restaurant database.  If you try to create a store with the name of a store that already exists, Resort Restaurant will display an error message.
