New
Choose this to create a new database. The Database Wizard will open to guide you through the process. You can also click on the button or hit the CTRL+N shortcut key to launch the Database Wizard.
Open
Opening an existing Resort Software recipe database (RSD/MDB file), an RXF file or a ZIP file. Note: ZIP files can contain RSD/MDB files or RXF files themselves. You can also click on the toolbar button or hit the CTRL+O shortcut key to perform the same operation.
Snapshot
Takes a snapshot or copy of the current database and saves it to a selected file and drive as a compressed archive (ZIP) file. Best done before performing a major import operation or something that may alter your database irreversibly. You can also click on the toolbar button to take a snapshot of your database.
Close
Closes the current database. You can also click on the toolbar button to close the current database.
Import
Launches the Import Wizard. Also imports a picture (graphic file) when the Picture Tab of the Recipe Form is the active view. You can also click on the toolbar button to launch the Import Wizard.
Export
Launches the Export Wizard. You can also click on the toolbar button to launch the Export Wizard.
Quick Export
Allows you to select to launch the Quick Export option for either ingredients, recipes, menus or functions. The quick export option can also be launched from the toolbars within the ingredient, recipe and menu forms.
Default Locations
Displays the Default Database Path Dialog. This allows you to change the directory that the File/Open dialog starts at when opening a file. You can also click on the toolbar button to launch the Default Database Path Dialog.
Preferences
Launches the File Preferences Dialog which allows you to set tax rates, change the format of units of measure and numeric values and other general database preferences. You can also click on the toolbar icon to launch the File Preferences Dialog.
Print Report
Launches the Report Wizard. This allows you to select from various reports available. You can also click on the toolbar button or hit the CTRL+P shortcut key to launch the Report Wizard.
Print Setup
Setup printer type and paper size/orientation. You can also click on the toolbar button to launch the Print Setup dialog.
Send Email
Launches the Email Wizard. This will allow you to email selected data to one or more email recipients. You can also click on the toolbar button to launch the Email Wizard.
Recent File List
The Recent File List displays the last four (4) database files opened within the program.
Exit
Choose this option to close the program.
