To create a new recipe copying the details from another recipe:-

 

First you will need to open the Recipe form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Recipes from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

In the recipe browser, select the recipe that you wish to copy from.

 

Use one of the following methods to copy the selected recipe:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Copy from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F3 shortcut key.

 

Fill in the details of the new recipe, remembering to change the name from that of the existing recipe.  More help on this can be found in the Recipe form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

NOTE: No two recipes are permitted the same name in a Resort Bistro database.  If you try to create a recipe with the name of a recipe that already exists, Resort Bistro will display an error message.
