Marking a recipe as incomplete
Resort Executive allows you to flag a recipe as 'incomplete'. This is mainly used when you are in a hurry to enter a recipe (usually because you are using the recipe within another recipe, menu or function). Any recipe that is incomplete can be tagged to let you know that more work is needed on the selected recipe, so you may go back at a later date to complete the details.
NOTE: When using an incomplete recipe within another recipe, function or menu, accurate food costs will not be obtained if there are no costs associated with the recipe.
Stores
Resort Executive allows you to allocate recipes to stores. This is particularly useful if you prepare recipes and keep them in a store prior to serving. By allocating a store to a particular recipe, you are able to count that recipe when it's time to perform a stocktake. For example, you may make large batches of stocks. When prepared, you may freeze some, and put the remainder in the cold room. When it comes time to perform a stocktake, by allocating the stock recipe to your cold store and your freezer store, you will be able to include the stock held in each store in your stock count. This makes your stock value far more accurate.
Keywords
Resort Executive lets you associate various keywords with recipes. Similar to categories, each recipe can be assigned to zero or more keywords. You can use keyword associations to 'drill-down' into your recipe collection when selecting recipes to display in the Recipe Form.
