You can force the program to update its allergen associations for recipes, menus and functions by running the Regenerate Allergen Associations option from the Tools menu.

 

You MUST run this after updating any ingredient/allergen associations to make sure that all recipes, menus and functions are updated to reflect those ingredient changes.
