To create a new unit:-

 

First you will need to open the Unit form.

 

This can be done by choosing one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the  toolbar button        or

 

•Select Forms->Units from the menu bar        or

 

•Click on the icon on the left-hand browser pane of your database form.

 

 

Once the Unit form is opened choose one of the following methods to create a new blank unit:

 

•Click on the toolbar button                or

 

•Select Record->New from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F2 shortcut key.

 

 

Fill in the details of the new unit in the blank unit form. More help on this can be found in the Unit form topic.

 

Save any changes you have made by using one of the following methods:

 

•Click on the toolbar button        or

 

•Select Record->Save from the menu bar        or

 

•Hit the F9 shortcut key.

 

 

NOTE: No two units are permitted the same name in a Resort Bistro database.  If you try to create a unit with the name of a unit that already exists, Resort Bistro will display an error message.
