Rollup search page

The rollup search page appears on all rollups, no matter which form you are in. It can be accessed by expanding the rollup and clicking on the search bar.  This page allows you to search for ingredients or recipes you wish to insert into the current form.  The rollup search page will appear like the image below.  The only difference, depending on which form you are in, will be the other pages listed at the base of the window.

To begin a search for an ingredient or recipe, type in the name of the required item in the search field. If you are unsure of the correct name, you can enter the first few letters and any items containing with those letters, in that order, will appear in the results list. See the following image.

You can then drag-n-drop the item(s) you are looking for from the results list into the current form, or alternatively, just double click an item to transfer it from the rollup into the parent form in the background.

 

Tool buttons that may be available on the Rollup search page (depending on which form you are in) are as follows:

Clicking on this button will insert the highlighted item(s) from the results list into the current grid.  You can highlight multiple items in the results list by holding down the CTRL key and clicking items in the list.

Clicking on this button will select all items in the results list.

Clicking on this button will allow you to create a new ingredient on the fly by launching the create ingredient dialog. This will only create an ingredient with a name, purchase and usage unit quantities. All other details such as assigning the new ingredient to  categories and suppliers will need to be added at a later date.

Clicking on this button will allow you to create a new recipe on the fly by launching the create recipe dialog.  This will only create a recipe with a name and base production unit.  All other details such as ingredients required will need to be added at a later date.

Clicking on this button will allow you to create a new course on the fly by launching the create course dialog.  

 

 

NOTE: Items (recipes or ingredients) that are retail products will appear in the rollup with different icons to those that are non-retail products.
