The Batch Unit Conversion dialog lets you convert recipe ingredient units from one style to another. That is, you can convert ingredient units in all recipes from say American units (pounds, ounces, etc.) to metric units (kilograms, litres, etc.).
To convert recipe and menu unit styles, select Batch Unit Conversion... from the Tools menu, or click the button in the toolbar, and the program will display the above dialog. Select the style of unit that you wish other units to be converted to (either, Metric, British, or American), select whether you want recipes and/or menus converted and click the OK button. Resort Chef will proceed to convert the units for the selected items to the selected unit style.
NOTE 1: When converting unit styles, Resort Chef will also adjust the ingredient quantities to suit the new unit style. E.g. If there are 10 ounces of Flour in a recipe, converting to metric units will change the flour entry to a 283.5 gram portion.
NOTE 2: Resort Chef performs exact conversions on ingredient units. E.g. The program will convert from '1 ounce', to '28.35 grams' when converting from British to metric units. The program makes no attempt to 'round' these ingredient quantities.
