Categories

Categories are used by Resort Chef to sort information into logical groups. Ingredients, Recipes, and Menus can all be assigned to one or more categories each.
You can then take advantage of these category grouping later on when printing reports. For instance, you may wish to print the details of all ingredients assigned to the Dry goods category.
All category creation and modification is managed by the Category dialog which can be displayed by selecting the Categories... option from the View menu or clicking the button on the toolbar.
Categories can be limited to the data types that they can be associated with. For instance a category called Dry goods, may be limited to being used with just ingredients and not with recipes or menus.
