How do I copy a recipe?
<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Navigation: Tutorials > Recipes > How do I copy a recipe? |
1. | Open a database (if one isn't already open). |
2. | Select Recipes from the View menu, or click the toolbar button. This will display the Recipe page. |
3. | Next, select the recipe that you wish to copy from, from the recipe browser list and then click the Copy button in the Recipe page on the right (see diagram below), or... |
...alternatively, click the right mouse button on the recipe you wish to copy from in the recipe browser list on the left and then select the Copy this recipe to a new recipe... option from the resulting popup menu (see diagram below).
Resort Chef will then display the Recipe dialog. The dialog will contain all of the information of the recipe you originally selected.
4. | Make whatever changes you wish to the recipe's details and click the OK button to save those changes. See the topic titled Recipe dialog for more information on filling out a recipe's details. |
NOTE: Each recipe within a Resort Chef database must have a unique name. If you attempt to create a new recipe (by copying from an already existing recipe), you must change the name of the new recipe before the program will let you save it.
5. | Repeat from step 3 above to copy another recipe. |
